Privacy Policy

Postbridge (“Postbridge”, “we”, “us”), a product of Happycoders Private Limited available at postbridge.happycoders.in, helps businesses connect their social accounts and publish content. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it. It is written to align with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

1. Who we are

Happycoders Private Limited is the data fiduciary for Postbridge. For questions or to exercise your rights, contact info@happycoders.in.

2. Data we collect

You give us

Account details — name, email, phone, business name, timezone, language preferences.
Brand content — logos, images, captions, briefs and any material you upload or connect.
Payment details — processed by our payment gateway (Razorpay); we store invoices and wallet ledger entries, not full card numbers.

You authorise us to access

Connected platform data — via your explicit OAuth consent: your page/profile identifiers, historical posts and engagement metrics from Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Business and WordPress, used to learn your brand voice and publish on your behalf.
Access tokens — stored encrypted, used only to publish content you approve.

We collect automatically

Usage & device data — log data, IP, browser, and in-app actions for security and product improvement.

3. How we use your data

To provide the service — learn your voice, generate, schedule and publish content you approve.
To operate your prepaid wallet, meter usage, and issue payment receipts.
To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and debug failures.
To send service messages (approvals pending, low balance) by email or WhatsApp Business message.
To improve our models and features, using aggregated or de-identified data where possible.

4. AI processing

We use third-party AI providers (for language and image generation) to create content. Your brand inputs and exemplars are sent to these providers to produce drafts. We do not sell your content, and we contractually restrict providers from using your data to train their public models where such controls are offered.

5. Sharing & disclosure

We share data only with: (a) the social platforms you connect, to publish; (b) sub-processors that run the service (hosting, AI providers, payment gateway, messaging); and (c) authorities where required by law. We never sell your personal data.

6. Data retention

We keep account and content data while your account is active and for a limited period afterwards to meet legal, tax and dispute obligations. You can request deletion at any time (see §8). Wallet ledger and invoice records are retained as required by applicable financial law.

7. Security

Access tokens and secrets are envelope-encrypted at rest. Access is least-privilege and logged. We scrub secrets from error reports. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the Data Protection Board of material breaches as required.

8. Your rights

Access & correction — view and fix your personal data.
Erasure — request deletion of your data and account.
Withdraw consent — disconnect any channel at any time; this stops future access via that token.
Grievance redressal — contact our Grievance Officer below; we respond within statutory timelines.
Nominate — nominate another individual to exercise your rights in case of incapacity, per the DPDP Act.

9. Children

Postbridge is for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly process children’s data without verifiable parental consent.

10. Data location & transfers

Data may be processed on infrastructure and by sub-processors located in and outside India. Where data is transferred internationally, we apply appropriate safeguards.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email, with the “last updated” date revised above.
